Our Sports Carnival 2024, held on 20 September, was a fantastic celebration of movement, laughter, and family fun! The day brought together children, parents, and teachers for a series of exciting games and activities designed to encourage teamwork, coordination, creativity, and a love of active play. From the very start, the atmosphere was full of energy and anticipation, with everyone eager to take part in the day’s challenges.
Children tested their balance and precision in games like the Egg and Spoon Relay, where they carefully balanced eggs while racing to the turnaround point, and Toss & Triumph, aiming bean bags at targets to showcase their focus and coordination. Parent-child pairs shared special moments in the Hercules Hustle and Piggyback Game, carrying or lifting their children as they dashed toward the finish line, while the Cross the River challenge had families moving strategically across cardboard stepping stones, combining problem-solving with teamwork.
Our young adventurers also tackled the Baton Blitz, passing the baton in relay style to keep their teams moving, while the Obstacle Course Mania encouraged children to navigate hurdles and challenges with agility and determination. Skill-based and creative challenges like the Box Glide Derby, Topple the Tower, and Splash & Fill added variety, requiring focus, coordination, and a touch of strategy, while the Spectacular Fun Frenzy gave children a chance to explore free-choice play — from scoring soccer goals and tossing meteor balls to trying battle ropes and posing for playful photo moments.
