Learning with Joy
Our kids have great experiences with House on the Hill and they love going to school everyday. Every Sunday they will anticipate what’s going to happen on Monday in school.
They will happily share what they have learned in school such as water cycle whenever it’s raining they will tell us it’s precipitation.
In addition, the school chinese lessons makes learning chinese fun. Especially their mandarin programme really makes Clarissa loves writing chinese characters and being able to read many chinese words.
The school and teachers are responsive and really takes care of the children’s wellbeing by creating a caring and supportive environment. We are happy that our children play and learn at a very healthy and happy environment.
We are thankful that we send our kids to Hoth, it makes them enjoy going to school.
Happy children, happy parents.

Grateful Hearts, Growing Minds
My husband and I are French, Singapore PR, we have 4 children between 2 and 9 and Mathilde is our number 3. We have been living in Singapore for more than a decade.
When it comes to choosing a school for our kids, we are extremely cautious. The first years in school/nursery are crucial. During this period our kids learn all basic soft skills while starting their educational journey.
I am not afraid to say that we were not in favour of a Montessori school initially since we have always prioritized ‘conventional’ pathways when it comes to education. When we visited HotH HC, amongst a few others in our neighbourhood, I had the immediate feeling that Mathilde would be well taken care of. This is the kind of feeling you can’t explain but I am happy I have followed my instinct.
Thanks to the school she has built confidence, independence and a strong team spirit, all thanks to the committed teachers in school and the way teaching is provided. Mathilde has really blossomed thanks to core values of the school such as mixing age groups, involving kids in all everyday tasks, allowing kids to raise their voice etc.
I also would like to highlight the quality of food at school. We are French and are extremely careful on diversification at an early stage of life. I must say HotH HC has had the most impressive menus from all the other school/nurseries my kids went to. It is fresh, diversified, delicious and Mathilde has always been extremely satisfied. She is now a great eater, willing to discover all kinds of food and all the contrary of a picky eater.
It is now time for Mathilde to join her siblings to the International French school and leave all her teachers and friends of HotH HC behind. But we won’t forget them and always be thankful to the school. Altogether we have turned Mathilde into an amazing little lady. THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts.

Learning and Thriving
Kara started at 18 months and stayed through to 6 years old. She loved the hands-on activities, cookery classes, and Mandarin immersion. What touched us most was the sense of community—children cheering one another on, and teachers who knew every child by name.

Growing with Confidence
Our daughter Jet attended House on the Hill from the age of 18 months until 4 years old, and we could not have wished for a better start for her. The teachers and staff are warm, caring, and attentive, creating a safe and loving environment where children truly feel at home.
During her time at House on the Hill, Jet learned so much, grew in confidence, and developed in ways that exceeded our expectations. The personal attention and encouragement she received have been invaluable, and we are deeply grateful for the dedication of the entire team.
We look back on these years with great appreciation and fondness, and we highly recommend House on the Hill to any family looking for a nurturing and inspiring place for their child.

"From the minute we arrive in the morning, you can feel the atmosphere that this amazing team of people creates. They are nurturing, patient, highly organised and creative, and all these qualities translate into everything they do — from the school curriculum and organised activities to parent-teacher events."

"House on the Hill is the only place where my son, who was diagnosed with ASD and ADHD, truly felt comfortable, where he could be himself and feel accepted. For this, we will be eternally grateful."

"It's really important to understand that House on the Hill is a school that genuinely cares about both your child and you. By putting the children — and then the parents — first, it creates an atmosphere of caring and warmth that few other schools in Singapore can replicate."
